I don’t usually brag about myself, but I must say that I did pretty well for my first ever judged show!
For those of you who are unaware of how entries into BSI show are judged, I’ll try to explain it:
Each entry is judged on a point system first, and depending on the points you get, you are awarded a certain ribbon:
95 points and above - Award of Merit
94 to 90 points - Blue Ribbon/First Place
89 to 85 points - Red Ribbon/Second Place
84 to 80 points - Yellow Ribbon/Third Place
79 to 70 points - White Ribbon
After they award every entry a ribbon, they then judge all the entries that were given an Award of Merit ribbon against each other, and then decide which entry is the Best of the Division, and the runner up.I don’t usually brag about myself, but I must say that I did pretty well for my first ever judged show!
